Thanks – Sharing Wheels does get bikes from the Everett Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies, on occasion. It’s easy to get used bikes. What’s harder is putting the time in to make sure the bikes are safe and rideable. That’s why we love our volunteers.

Have you talked to the Everett Police Department about your need for bikes? I work at Trinity Lutheran Church and a year ago we had a bike left on our property, when we talked to a office about turniing it in to them we were told that they had over 400 unclaimed bikes sitting around and if we could find it a new home they would rather that then take it in. They may have some suitable for older, bigger children that would be useful.

I was wondering what I had to do as a low income adult I had to do to get a bike.
