Jobs

Sharing Wheels has always relied on volunteers to operate our nonprofit bicycle shop, and we always need volunteers.

We are currently developing some paid positions to be hired over the next few months: bicycle mechanic, customer service representative, and ultimately, shop manager.

Paid staff will enable us to:

  • Fix and sell more bikes
  • Expand shop hours
  • Create a more sustainable organization

Now Hiring Part-Time Bike Mechanic

Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop is hiring one or two part-time bicycle mechanics to work on repairing and tuning used bicycles in our Everett shop. Schedule is flexible – the mechanic will have a key to the shop and be expected to work independently outside of regular shop hours.

First review of applications will take place June 1. Position(s) open until filled.

Hours & Compensation

This position will start at 6 – 10 hours per week and pays $11 to $15 an hour, depending on experience. The bike mechanic will be eligible to apply for future positions that include customer service and shop management, offering the possibility of expanded hours and responsibilities.
